Delaware River Basin Stone, located in Deposit, NY, currently produces thermalized bluestone treads and pattern stone for wholesale and direct to contractors and stone masons. With rapid sales growth in their current conventional stone lines, DRBS is seeking to expand their product lines by offering custom cut and finished stone products. Increasing national demand for bluestone products has become concentrated in the high-end specialty market. Customized stone products provide a much higher margin but require greater accuracy and speed than can be achieved through manual production.
